quick second post just to test if the git push-to-publish is working
Today is the 11th, two days after the stupidest day in the history of the Philippines. It's mind-boggling. Literally 30 fucking million idiots around me. I have known for a while that the Filipinos are the most gullible people on earth, but it's still very painful to see.
There's a post on Reddit claiming to be part of the troll network behind this tragedy. It doesn't matter at this point. Even if they gave out the names of everyone in the network, they did not break any law. There won't be for the next six years at least.
In the back of my head, I'm hoping that there was a grand conspiracy involving the vote machines sending out predetermined results but still gave accurate receipts. It's very unlikely, that's why this situation is so frustrating. This disaster is wholly on the fucking stupid people with inks on their fingers. And the educators for failing to stop the stupidity.
If we're lucky, the fucking thieves at the helm would fuck up so much that the gull awaken to the reality that they've been had and reject them at the mid-terms. There would be much suffering, but they deserve that. We deserve that. I hope there'd be enough of us still alive at that point to take back what was thoughtlessly thrown away.
Would there still be an opposition party in three years? Good luck to all of us.
